 Tirthankaras have their own special place in the ancient tradition of Jainism. The Tirthankars while doing their welfare, show the path of welfare for the living beings in the world and attain Nirvana, this is the reason why Jains celebrate the Nirvana Day of Tirthankars with great enthusiasm in the form of devotional zeal. The present ruler, the fourth and the last Tirthankar, non-violence, Lord Mahavir Swami took Digambar initiation at the age of 30 years, and after 12 years of rigorous penance, attained Kevalgyan at the age of 42, and attained the supreme position for the welfare of the creatures of the world for 30 years. Paving the way for world peace by giving sermons for this purpose, at the age of 72, he attained nirvana from Padma Sarovar located in Pavapuri city of Mallas in the last half of the night of Kartik Krishna Chaturdashi. The gods of heaven lit up that dark night by showering gems and the people celebrated an extraordinary festival by lighting lamps. In the festival, the beauty of Pawapuri ji was made on sight. 9 Lichchavi, 9 Malla, and 17 Kashi Kosala Republic were present at the time of Parinirvana of Tirthankara Mahavira. Magadha Emperor Shrenik along with his subjects celebrated the Nirvana festival of the Lord with great pomp. Indrabhuti Gautam Swami was the first Ganadhar of Lord Mahavir, he also attained Kevalgyan on the same day. Since then this day was celebrated as the festival of lights, Deepawali. After the nirvana festival, the deities performed the rites of fire on the divine body of the Lord at the place of Nirvana in the middle of Padma Sarovar by the fire emanating from the front of Indra's crown and engraved the footprints at that place with the help of a thunderbolt. Acharya Gunabhadrized ‘Uttarpuran’ In the description of Mahavir Nirvana, almost like other Acharyas have come. One difference is important that according to other Acharyas, Lord Mahavir was liberated alone, but according to Uttara Puranakar 1000 sages were liberated along with Lord Mahavir Swami.

 

Lord Mahavir Swami Nirvana Sthali :- The place where Mahavir Swami's Nirvana took place There is now a huge lake. It is said that a huge crowd had gathered here at the time of Lord's Nirvana, each person took a – Picking up a pinch of soil, he applied it to his spear (frontal) with reverence. Since then it has become a big pond. This lake is famous among the general public as Nokhur Sarovar. Which means it is said to have been dug with nails . Earlier this lake was spread over eighty-four bighas, but today it is a quarter as long and only as wide. The lake appears to be very ancient. Due to the lotus flowers blooming in different colors, the beauty of this lake becomes double, hence it is also called Kamal Sarovar. When prodigy lovers put fish in the water. At that time those fish  Snuggle and play are worth watching.       

Jal Mandir :- In the center of this lake is a Jain temple built of white marble Which is called Jal Mandir. A big entrance made of red stone is found on the side of the road to go to this water temple. From this gate to the temple, there is a 600 feet long bridge made of red stone. In the night, when there is electric light and its reflection falls in the water, then the view there looks very grand and beautiful. Where the bridge ends, there is a marble gate. Upon entering it, a huge marble platform is found. In the middle of it, there is a grand and artistic Jain temple of marble. The island on which the temple is built is 104 square yards. Says – This temple was built by a king named Nandivardhana, and the foundation of the altar was filled with gold bricks. Initially this temple was not of marble, marble has been installed later. The original temple was made of bricks. A few years ago this temple was renovated. At that time the ancient temple and attached to it   Huge bricks were seen by thousands of people   According to the opinion of archaeologists, these bricks are two and a half thousand years old. Muni Darshan Vijay ji Triputti also wrote ‘Jain tradition no history’ I have mentioned the same thing in these words – “ The temple was found to be renovating no more than eight and a half thousand years, the thick brick would have come out. Similarly, in the altar on the left, the feet of Gautam Swami, the chief consort of the Lord, and Sudharma Swami's feet are established in the altar on the right. There are no idols in the temple. The temple is peaked. There are temples (Gumtis) on the four corners of the platform outside the temple. The altar of Kshetrapal Ji is situated on the wall on either side of the gate of the temple.

Ancient Samavasaran Temple :-  Water In front of the temple there is a Samavasaran temple, in which the feet of Lord Mahavir are seated. A very interesting story came to be heard from old people regarding these steps. Where the Swetambers have built their new Samavasaran temple, there are ancient stupas and wells. Earlier these steps were sitting there. The cowherds used to come there to graze their cattle. One day a mischievous cowherd lifted those feet and threw them in the well. But the feet did not sink in the water, but floated on the water. This made the cowherds very curious and when the cowherds again came to the same place on the second day, they were very surprised to see that Charan was sitting at his former place. Out of curiosity, he again threw those feet in the same well and when he came again the next day and saw those feet were again present in their place. He threw those feet into the well several times out of curiosity as if it had become a daily activity for him. It went on like this for a few days   Finally this news in the ears of Jain community  Fell. After deliberation, it was decided that the feet should not be harmed in this curiosity. The society got those feet lifted from there and installed them in the temple in front of the water-temple. Since then he is sitting there. There is no doubt that these steps are very ancient and were probably established at the place where the last Samavasaran of the Lord took place.      

Shri Digambar Jain Office Mandir :-There were already two temples and one Dharamshala in this area. The people of both the sects had equal rights over them. Later the Digambar community built separate dharamshalas and temples. Now-a-days Digambaras and Swetambers have equal rights over the Jal-Mandir and Samavasaran Temple from the point of view of worship and worship.  Near Jal-Mandir ‘Pavapuri Siddha Kshetra Digambar Jain Office’ Is . There is a group of nine Digambar Jain temples here. There is a big temple in this, Seth Motichand Khemchand ji ‘Sholapur’ Built on behalf of the people and his reputation V.No. Happened in 1950. Nirmal Kumar Chakraeshwar Kumar Ji ‘Ara’ Those did it. (5) The construction of the altar was done by the Bihar State Digambar Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee. In the main altar there are 2 white stone and 7 metal images.

Shantinath altar :-The second altar is of Lord Shantinath. The color of the statue is black, Avagahana two and a half feet  Padmasana. Deer's stigma in the middle  Is . It was established in the year 1950. There are 3 metal statues in this altar and one metal has three chaubis. On the left side, in a niche, there is an ancient step.              

Khadgasan Statue :- In the third altar there is a 7-feet-shaped Khadgasana statue of Moolnayak Lord Mahavir. Its character is like a coral. This statue was established in Veer Samvat 2465. There is a lion stigma on the foot of the statue. Very beautiful paintings have been done on the wall of this temple and there are big chavars (chandeliers) on both sides of the statue.

 

 

 

Parshwanath Vedi :- On the left side of the sanctum is the     altar of Lord Parshvanath. In this Moolnayak Bhagwan Parshvanath    is seated in Padmasana. The character is of coral. Pratishtha Samvat V.No.1950 is. Apart from these, there are 4 white stones, 1 Krishna Varna Parshvanath and 3 metal statues.                         

In this sanctum sanctorum on the left side there are statues of twenty-four Tirthankaras in a pedestal in a wall altar. In the middle, a chhatra is adorned over the head of Lord Shantinath. Two yards of the trunk are marked on either side of the umbrella. In the middle of them the Yaksha or Dev is sitting with folded hands. Of the twenty-four Tirthankaras, two are seated in Khadgasana and the rest in Padmasana. Two deer have remained under the feet of Shantinath as his symbol. There is no article on the image.  

In the same wall-altar, in another inscription, Parshvanath is seated in Padmasana. On top of the statue is a serpent    On both sides of the statue are standing leather carriers. On both sides of the hood of the statue, Akashchari Dev is seen with flowers in his hand. Dev-Dundubhi on one side and cymbals on the other.

In this sanctum sanctorum on the right side there are two ancient statues in the wall-altar. These idols are of Lord Parshvanath and Lord Shantinath. On the head of Parshvanath, there is a snake-hood and a chhatra is adorned over him. The idol is in Padmasana and meditative posture. There is a gleam on their side. There are goddesses with flowers on them. In the upper parts on both sides of the panel, respectively, cymbals and cymbals are marked. There are two lions on the pedestal of the statue and the Dharma Chakra is adorned in the middle of them.                              &bsp;&nb&nb&nb&nb;&b;&nb;

Shri Adinath Jinalaya :- Inside the entrance of the temple on the right side there is an Adinath Jinalaya which was built in 2013  It has been done by Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Committee. In this, the Khadgasana statue of Mulnayak 2.25 feet is of Lord Bharat, the Padmasan of Lord Adinath is a small image of black color and a small Khadgasan statue of Ashta metal is of Bahubali God.

Two altars on the left side in the courtyard of the temple, in which Acharya Shree 108 Shantisagar Ji Maharaj and Vatsalya Ratnakar Acharya Shree  A very beautiful statue of 108 Vimal Sagar Ji Maharaj is present.                                          

Four temples are very beautiful altars on the first floor of the temple  On going upstairs, there are three altars in a temple on the left side of the staircase. On the middle altar there is a Padmasan statue of Lord Mahavira with two feet of white stone, another white stone of Chandra Prabhu and  A metal square is seated.

In the altar on the left side there is a white stone statue of Lord Mahavir Avagahana one foot, a four-faced statue of Ashtadhatu and Mahavir Swami's statue of Ashtadhatu. Similarly, in the altar on the right side also, there is a white stone statue of Mahavir Swami, Avagahana one foot, one Padmasan of Mahavir Swami and one Khadgasana Ashtadhatu. All these statues were consecrated in the year 1950.                   &  &nb &nb;       ;       

Proceeding from this temple, there are three temples above the main entrance of the temple. In the first temple, there is a two feet high Padmasan statue of Lord Mahavira of white stone. Apart from this, three stone and three metal statues  Is . The prestige of Mulnayak is V. Samvat 1991.

There are five altars in the central temple – Two in the wall and three on the ground with the support of the wall. The wall-altar on the left has 3 stone, 4 metal and 1 silver idol. Beyond this, there are 24 foot-signs in the first altar built on the ground with the support of the wall. On the central altar there is a statue of Lord Mahavira in the middle of the coral varna with Padmasana and one and a quarter feet of avagahana. On the left is the white image of Chandraprabhu and on the right is the idol of Mahavir Swami's coral color. Its prestige period is also V. Samvat 1991. The third altar has the footprints of the Lord. The wall-altar on the right has 4 stone and 5 metal images.

An altar remains in the third temple. One and a half feet high white Padmasana statue of Moolnayak Lord Mahavira is a yellow stone Padmasana statue. Apart from this, there are 5 white stone statues. Above All the altars have wonderful gold paintings                                             

Antilim Deshna Bhoomi (Samoshran) :- It is situated on the west side of Jalmandir. Here the feet of Lord Mahavir Swami are established in Pandukshila. Under the direction of Bihar State Digambar Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee, an eleven and a half feet red stone statue of Lord Mahavir Swami has been installed in this Pandukshila complex with the courtesy of Param Pujya Aryika 105 Shri Gyanmati Mata ji. Two modern toilet rooms have been constructed in the Pandukshila complex and the remaining work is in progress. This is a very suitable place to meditate on religion very near to the Jal Mandir, away from the hustle and bustle of Dharamsala. It is also known as Mahavir Manohar Udyan. With the blessings of Acharya Shri 108 Vishuddha Sagar Ji Maharaj, 31 feet high huge Chaubisi Manastambha has been built in the garden in the year 2022. As a memory to the travelers who come here, 'Swarnaraj'; are presented.                                                                                                                 

Hospices :-   There are two Dharamshalas for Jain travelers to stay. Both are two storeyed.

First Dharamshala:- Including Digambar Jain Office and Temple, this Dharamshala has 4 four big rooms For sacrifices, 10 simple rooms, 70 attached rooms, a large hall and 8  There is air condition room. In which all kinds of facilities like water, electricity, etc. There is a very beautiful Manastambha in the middle of the Dharamsala courtyard. There are beautiful gardens around Manastambh, in which – Various types of flowers and trees are planted. There is also a well in this Dharamshala, which is used for Abhishek, worship and drinking in the temple. There is a very beautiful waterfall in this Dharamshala in front of the temple. Auxiliary police station, post office, bank and ATM facility are also available outside Dharamshala,  By which the pilgrims coming from outside use it.

Second Dharamshala :- This Dharamshala is built behind the temple, total 15  There are rooms with toiletries. There are also 15 simple rooms, a dining hall and a Vimal Bhawan, in which there are 2 blocks, two toilet rooms have been made in each block and a beautiful garden is also built in front of this  Many types of trees are planted in the garden like mango, guava, litchi, jackfruit, teak etc. In this Dharamsala, there is a very big traveler's shed, which is used in the evening aarti of the water temple and programs etc. during the Nirvana festival.

Acharya Shree Vidyasagar Bhawan :- Construction work of Acharya Shree Vidyasagar Bhavan Courtesy of Param Pujya Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj Done from. A total of 39 rooms attached bathrooms have been made in this Vidyasagar Bhawan built in modern style. There is also a plan to install a lift in this building. Bhojanshala :- Pavapuri ji also has a good arrangement of paid restaurant for the travelers visiting Siddha Kshetra. There is a big hall, in which passengers take food etc. This Bhojanshala is located behind the temple in Dharamshala number - two

The second idol is of Lord Shantinath. In the upper part of which the idols of twenty-four Tirthankaras are also engraved. Its composition is similar to that of the Shantinath statue sitting in the wall-altar on the left.                   &  &&nb; &nb;      ;      

Shri Adinath Jinalaya :- Inside the entrance of the temple on the right side there is an Adinath Jinalaya which was built in 2013  It has been done by Shri Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra Committee. In this, the Khadgasana statue of Mulnayak 2.25 feet is of Lord Bharat, the Padmasan of Lord Adinath is a small image of black color and a small Khadgasan statue of Ashta metal is of Bahubali God.

Two altars on the left side in the courtyard of the temple, in which Acharya Shree 108 Shantisagar Ji Maharaj and Vatsalya Ratnakar Acharya Shree  A very beautiful statue of 108 Vimal Sagar Ji Maharaj is present.                                          

Four temples are very beautiful altars on the first floor of the temple  On going upstairs, there are three altars in a temple on the left side of the staircase. On the middle altar there is a Padmasan statue of Lord Mahavira with two feet of white stone, another white stone of Chandra Prabhu and  A metal square is seated.

In the altar on the left side there is a white stone statue of Lord Mahavir Avagahana one foot, a four-faced statue of Ashtadhatu and Mahavir Swami's statue of Ashtadhatu. Similarly, in the altar on the right side also, there is a white stone statue of Mahavir Swami, Avagahana one foot, one Padmasan of Mahavir Swami and one Khadgasana Ashtadhatu. All these statues were consecrated in the year 1950.                   &  &nb &nb;       ;       

Proceeding from this temple, there are three temples above the main entrance of the temple. In the first temple, there is a two feet high Padmasan statue of Lord Mahavira of white stone. Apart from this, three stone and three metal statues  Is . The prestige of Mulnayak is V. Samvat 1991.

There are five altars in the central temple – Two in the wall and three on the ground with the support of the wall. The wall-altar on the left has 3 stone, 4 metal and 1 silver idol. Beyond this, there are 24 foot-signs in the first altar built on the ground with the support of the wall. On the central altar there is a statue of Lord Mahavira in the middle of the coral varna with Padmasana and one and a quarter feet of avagahana. On the left is the white image of Chandraprabhu and on the right is the idol of Mahavir Swami's coral color. Its prestige period is also V. Samvat 1991. The third altar has the footprints of the Lord. The wall-altar on the right has 4 stone and 5 metal images.

An altar remains in the third temple. One and a half feet high white Padmasana statue of Moolnayak Lord Mahavira is a yellow stone Padmasana statue. Apart from this, there are 5 white stone statues. Above All the altars have wonderful gold paintings                                             

Antilim Deshna Bhoomi (Samoshran) :- It is situated on the west side of Jalmandir. Here the feet of Lord Mahavir Swami are established in Pandukshila. Under the direction of Bihar State Digambar Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee, an eleven and a half feet red stone statue of Lord Mahavir Swami has been installed in this Pandukshila complex with the courtesy of Param Pujya Aryika 105 Shri Gyanmati Mata ji. Two modern toilet rooms have been constructed in the Pandukshila complex and the remaining work is in progress. This is a very suitable place to meditate on religion very near to the Jal Mandir, away from the hustle and bustle of Dharamsala. It is also known as Mahavir Manohar Udyan. With the blessings of Acharya Shri 108 Vishuddha Sagar Ji Maharaj, 31 feet high huge Chaubisi Manastambha has been built in the garden in the year 2022. As a memory to the travelers who come here, 'Swarnaraj'; are presented.                                                                                                                 

Hospices :-   There are two Dharamshalas for Jain travelers to stay. Both are two storeyed.

First Dharamshala:- Including Digambar Jain Office and Temple, this Dharamshala has 4 four big rooms For sacrifices, 10 simple rooms, 70 attached rooms, a large hall and 8  There is air condition room. In which all kinds of facilities like water, electricity, etc. There is a very beautiful Manastambha in the middle of the Dharamsala courtyard. There are beautiful gardens around Manastambh, in which – Various types of flowers and trees are planted. There is also a well in this Dharamshala, which is used for Abhishek, worship and drinking in the temple. There is a very beautiful waterfall in this Dharamshala in front of the temple. Auxiliary police station, post office, bank and ATM facility are also available outside Dharamshala,  By which the pilgrims coming from outside use it.

Second Dharamshala :- This Dharamshala is built behind the temple, total 15  There are rooms with toiletries. There are also 15 simple rooms, a dining hall and a Vimal Bhawan, in which there are 2 blocks, two toilet rooms have been made in each block and a beautiful garden is also built in front of this  Many types of trees are planted in the garden like mango, guava, litchi, jackfruit, teak etc. In this Dharamsala, there is a very big traveler's shed, which is used in the evening aarti of the water temple and programs etc. during the Nirvana festival.

Acharya Shree Vidyasagar Bhawan :- Construction work of Acharya Shree Vidyasagar Bhavan Courtesy of Param Pujya Shri Praman Sagar Ji Maharaj Done from. A total of 39 rooms attached bathrooms have been made in this Vidyasagar Bhawan built in modern style. There is also a plan to install a lift in this building. The construction of this building has brought a lot of convenience to the pilgrims coming to Pavapuri. This building is three storeyed and it is located in Dharamshala No. 2. The arrangement of this Dharamshala is done from Pawapuri Ji Siddha Kshetra Office only.           

Bhojanshala :- Pavapuri ji also has a good arrangement of paid restaurant for the travelers visiting Siddha Kshetra. In which full care is taken of breakfast, food and all kinds of facilities for the passengers. There is a big hall, in which passengers take food etc. This Bhojanshala is located behind the temple in Dharamshala number - two
