Idol of Tirthankar Chandraprabhu in Padmasana posture.

The idol of Tirthankar Chandraprabhu is said to be belonging to Chaturthkala (4th generation) is about 2,700 years. Along with this, we can find about 1,300 years old ancient idol of Tirthankar Mallinath in Padmasana. This temple was renovated in 1917 by Seth Lalman Das.

Many Digambar Jain Acharyas and Munis have visited this place. One of the revered Jain Acharya Sri Vimalsagarji Maharaj was of the opinion that there is super natural power in the basement of this temple.

In addition to the above, we can also find the idols of the Tirthankar Adinath, Bharath and Bahubali installed in a separate vedhi/sanctum sanctorum. A seperate temple in the form of a Lotus with a uniquely made Lotus like structure with the installations of Sahasrakuta Tirthankar is also seen here.

When the Mughal’s tried to attack the temple and destroy it thet were energy less and it is believed that this was due to the special super natural power of the idols in the temple.

The temple's annual fair is conduction from Anant Chaturtdashi to 2nd Sunday (falguna shukla saptami) Moksha Kalyana (Salvation day) of Tirthankar Chandraprabhu / Chandranath.

Decent boarding and lodging facilities are available in the dharmashala besides the temple.
