Jainagutti ( means Jaina Samooha) is near Adagur situated between hassan and Halebeed, This is 25kms from hassan. This place is surrounded by hills believed to be one of the ancient Thirtha kshetra of Karnataka . With gratuitous presence of sri 108 Veersagar muni Maharaj , jain community has discovered and excavated many Jain idols of 9th century which is believed to be in the vicinity of Hoysala kingdom. Halebeed(dorasamudra) was capital city of Hoysala kingdom. Which is 8 kms from jainagutti which was devastated during many invasions since then. During last 1 year , there has been 15-16 idols were discovered and excavated. Including 1008 Parshwanath, Munisurvatha , Adinath thirthankaras and Padmavathi Amma aswell. There has been quite lot of development work has been taken up with guidance of Jaina community muni’s , pattacharya’s and leaders, led by our Yuva muni 108 Veersagar Maharaj.
