Swasti Shri Charukirti Bhattarak Ji Maharaj Shravanabelagola, the supreme patron of Bihar State Digambar Jain Pilgrimage Committee, has passed away in the early morning hours of March 23, 2023.

Pujya Swasti Shri Charukirti Bhattarak Ji Maharaj Shravanabelagola was a penetrating scholar of Jainism. He got conservation and development work done on many ancient pilgrimages of South India and installed many Bhattarak Maharajas there so that the arrangement of the pilgrimage area could run well. 

The Bihar Teerth Committee has always been under the guidance and blessings of Pujya Bhattarak Mahaswamiji. The committee pays tribute to him on his deathbed.
