 Importance of Lord Mahaveer Kaivalya Gyan Sthal Sri Malaygiri Tirtha :-

It has been certified by Jain historians and scholars on the basis of the facts mentioned in Jain scriptures in the context of Panch Kalyanakas and life of Lord Mahavir, the twenty-fourth Tirthankara of Jainism. Kalyanak was born on the banks of river Rijukula (Kiul) under a sala tree in Jambhak village in Bihar province. Which is currently known as Jamui. After twelve years, five months, 15 days of severe penance, Vaishakh Shukla Dashami attained Kaivalya Gyan. There were thirty-six thousand Aryanikas, 1 lakh Shravakas and 3 lakh Shravikas including Sri Indrabhuti etc. 11 Gandharas, 14 thousand sages, Ganini Aryika Chandana etc. His first disciple was Gautam Gandhara Swami.

Therefore, with the inspiration of the above facts, modern scholars and Param Pujya Aryika Gyanmati Mata, the Bihar State Shri Digambar Jain Tirth Kshetra Committee, Devashram, Ara, under the Jamui district of Bihar state, on the banks of Rijukula river near Malaypur Pataneshwar hill. But the area was constructed by purchasing one acre of nine and a half decimiles of land, in which five rooms, a hall have been constructed, with the blessings of Param Pujya Gyanmati Mata ji and with the support of Shri Anil Kumar ji Jain Kamal Mandir, resident of Delhi in the area. By installing a 15-feet high statue of Lord Mahavir on the hill situated on the hill, his Panchkalyanak has been completed this year in the presence of revered Ravindrakirti Swamiji. For which we express our gratitude on behalf of the committee and say Vandami. This holy land of Lord Mahavir is called ‘Kevalya Dham’ Also known as Malayagiri Tirtha.

On this holy land of knowledge, the cooperation of all of you is essential in the all round development of the region. Therefore, all of you are requested to the nobles that Lord Mahavir Kevalya should provide the pain of cooperating whole-heartedly in the construction works of the land of knowledge, so that the development of the area can be done at the earliest.

                     Basic facilities for passengers and water boring, toilet room, etc. have been built this year. The construction of the stairs on the hill and the marble stone work in the temple courtyard has been completed in the year 2018.  Champapuri is situated on the main road of Pavapuri ji, due to the movement of passengers is going on in this area.
