Shri Shantinath Digambar Jain Temple, Islampur (Nalanda) Bihar - The Nirvana Bhoomi of Lord Mahavir Swami is situated at a distance of 55 Kms from Pavapuri Teerth and 38 Kms from Rajgriha Ji Teerth. In this temple, the very ancient statue of Lord Chandraprabhu ji, the very ancient Moolnayak, the eighth Tirthankara, is seated in an altar made of gold. A few years back, this altar was renovated again by Shri Adishwar Ji Jain, a resident of Alwar Tijara. Where daily religious worship is done by the local Jain society with full devotion. Late Babu Girdharmalji Jain was the founder of this ancient temple. They were the zamindars of the entire Ishrampur city of Islampur, their zamindari used to run the entire city. Born in Jaiswal Jain family, Late Babu Girdharmal ji Jain whose four books had migrated from East Rajasthan to Bihar.
This Shikharband Digambar Jain temple was built here by late Babu Girdharmal ji Jain, more than 300 years ago from today. br /> In this Jain temple, a hall has also been constructed for the stay of saints and saints with the help of Jain society.
There are about 40 Ghar Jain Samaj, which together organize every Jain festival with pomp.

श्री शांतिनाथ दिगम्बर जैन मन्दिर, इस्लामपुर (नालन्दा) बिहार - भगवान महावीर स्वामी की निर्वाण भूमि पावापुरी तीर्थ से 55 किलोमीटर तथा राजगृह जी तीर्थ से मात्र 38 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित है। इस मंदिर में अत्यंत अतिशयकारी, अतिप्राचीन मूलनायक आठवें तीर्थंकर भगवान चन्द्रप्रभु जी की अतिप्राचीन प्रतिमा स्वर्णो से कारीगरी की हुई वेदी में विराजमान है। कुछ वर्ष पहले ही इस वेदी का पुनः जीर्णोद्धार अलवर तिजारा निवासी श्री आदिश्वर जी जैन के द्वारा करवाया गया था। जहाँ प्रतिदिन स्थानीय जैन समाज द्वारा धर्म आराधना पूरे भक्तिभाव के साथ की जाती है। इस प्राचीन मंदिर का नींव रखने वाले स्वर्गीय बाबू गीर्धरमल जी जैन थे। वे पुरे ईशरामपुर वर्तमान इस्लामपुर नगर के जमींदार थे, इनका पुरे नगर मे जमींदारी चला करता था। जैसवाल जैन परिवार में जन्में स्वर्गीय बाबू गीर्धरमल जी जैन जिनकी चार पुस्तें पूर्व राजस्थान से पलायन कर बिहार आये थे।
स्वर्गीय बाबू गीर्धरमल जी जैन द्वारा आज से करीबन 300 वर्ष से भी पूर्व में यहाँ इस शिखरबंद दिगम्बर जैन मंदिर का निर्माण कराया गया था मन्दिर के गुम्बज में चौबीसो टोंक की प्रतिकृति बनाई गई है जो श्रावको को चौबीसो तीर्थंकर के दर्शन का एहसास कराता है।
इस जैन मंदिर में साधु-संतो के ठहरने हेतु एक हाॅल का भी निर्माण जैन समाज के सहयोग से कराया गया है।
यहाँ लगभग 40 घर जैन समाज है जो मिलकर हर जैन त्योहारों को धूमधाम के साथ आयोजित करते है।
यहाँ की व्यवस्था एवं संचालन स्थानीय जैन समाज के द्वारा ही किया जाता है।
श्री चन्द्रप्रभु दिगम्बर जैन मन्दिर इस्लामपुर जो "बिहार राज्य धार्मिक न्यास बोर्ड" से संबंधित है। विगत कुछ वर्षों में मन्दिर जी में काफी सौन्दर्यकरण एवं जीर्णोद्धार का कार्य कराया गया है।
जब भी बिहार में पंचतीर्थ दर्शन को आये तब यहाँ अतिशयकारी जिनालय के दर्शन कर पुण्यार्जन करें। पटना से रेलमार्ग या बस द्वारा सीधे पहुँचा जा सकता है। मन्दिर के जीर्णोद्धार कार्य में आपसब भी सहयोग कर सकते है।
