ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಿದ್ವಾಂಸರ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯಿಂದ ವೈಶಾಲಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕುಂಡಲ್ಗ್ರಾಮ್ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಮಹಾವೀರನ ಜನ್ಮಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಗವಾನ್ ಮಹಾವೀರನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಅಜ್ಜ ರಾಜ ಚೇತಕ್ ವೈಶಾಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಭದ್ರಕೋಟೆಯ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳು ಚದುರಿಹೋಗಿವೆ. ಭಗವಾನ್ ಮಹಾವೀರನ ಪುರಾತನ ದೇವಾಲಯವು ವೈಶಾಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೋಟೆಯ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದೆ, ಇದನ್ನು ಬಿಹಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ದಿಗಂಬರ ಜೈನ ತೀರ್ಥ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ವೈಶಾಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ, ಹೇಳಿದ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ಧಾರ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ತೊಂದರೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಸುಮಾರು 6ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ.ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಿ ಜೀರ್ಣೋದ್ಧಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತಿಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೃತಶಿಲೆ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ವಸತಿ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ನವೀಕರಣ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದ ಮೇಲ್ಛಾವಣಿ ಒಡೆದು ಹೊಸದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ಹದಿನೈದು ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ವರ್ಷ – 2018 ಭಗವಾನ್ ಮಹಾವೀರನ ಕಪ್ಪು ಬಣ್ಣದ 5 ಅಡಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಪದ್ಮಾಸನ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಪಂಚ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕ್ ಸಹ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಕಾರ ಅಗತ್ಯ.
From the research of modern scholars it is proved that Kundalgram situated next to Vaishali is the birth place of Lord Mahavir. The renovation work of the rooms is going on for the arrangement of accommodation etc. of the passengers. There is a need to break the roof of the temple and hall and make a new one, in which the construction work is going on. About fifteen lakh rupees will be required in this.
