Mulnayak Sri Parshvanath Bhagwan in white color, seated in a lotus posture, of height 55 Cms in a shrine outside the village of Uthman at the foot hills. On the left side of mulnayak the idol of Sri Adinath Bhagwan and on the right side the idol of Sri Suparshwanath Bhagwan.

From the stone inscriptions found in the temple, the shrine is believed to be of a period before the 12th Vikram century. On the wall of the Rangamandap in the temple there is an inscription which states that the Rangamandap was built on Jeth Krishna Panchami in Vikram year 1251.

This Swetambar Temple has been magnificently decorated with intricate artistic designs. The creative temple work boast about the skills of the craftsmen. The walls and pillars of the temple are adorned with specimens of ancient art and paintings. The sculptural work under the seat of the mulnayak is very appealing.

 The idol of mulnayak has been beautifully carved from a single stone and looks very appealing. The smiling face of the Bhagwan looks very calm and serene.

The Temple of Sri Uthman Teerth organises many annual gatherings and functions. A flag is raised on the temple on the tenth day of the dark half of the month of Shravana.

There are provisions for dharamshala and Bhojanshala for the pilgrims. Apart from this there are Upashrays, an Ayambilshala and a Jnanabhandar. The teerth is situated amidst beautiful natural surroundings.

 How to reach :

The nearby railway station of Jawaibandh is 20 Kms away where taxis are available. The nearby big town of Sirohi is 22 Ms and of Shivganj is 15 Kms away from where buses and taxis are available. On the main road at a distance of 1 ½ Kms from the temple, there is the public bus stand from where transport is available to reach the temple. There is tar road upto the temple. Cars and buses can go upto the temple doors.

There is a dharamshala for lodging with all facilities including a bhojanshala for meals.
