Ancient Sumer was in ruins. Whose ruins are still found in the excavation. But when the invaders looted and broke the Jain temple of Sumer, then the Shravakas of this region got it renovated, due to which this pilgrimage is still inhabited. But now the ancient remains of this pilgrimage are rarely visible. An attractive idol of Lord Shantinath is installed in the Jain temple of Sumer.
