This is beautiful Jain temple in the heart of Amritsar city. If you are visiting Amritsar this place is at just 2.5 km from Golden Temple. The architecture of this temple is mixture of ancient and modern design. This temple also has a Dharamshala. Dharamshala is old but neat and clean, attached toilets are not available here.
No Bhojanshala here, pure jain food is available near Swarna mandir in Rajasthani hotel and it's delicious.
There are only 2 jain temples in amritsar and this is one of them, other one is Arnath Bhagwan's Temple. It was so peaceful and the idol of Shri Parshwanath Bhagwan is very beautiful. The structure was bit different compared to other Jain temples.
Very peaceful and clean compound. The entire temple is maintained by the Kochchar family who owns the adjacent woolen factory. A small garden is also maintained within the compound.
A small guru temple of Sir Shanti Surishwar ji Maharaj is here beside the main temple.
