More than 100-150 Jain families lived in Kirthal village about 100 years ago (in 1900). Two major sects of Jainism: Jain families, who believe in Digambar and Shvetambara, were engaged in their business and farming with complete harmony, mutual cooperation and selflessness. Due to such a large number of Jains, the construction work of Shri Digambar Jain Temple ji started here about 100 years ago (1900 to 1910) and at present Shri Digambar Jain Temple ji is established as a pilgrimage for your darshan. It is the result of continuous effort and many times renovation. For accurate information, we are still trying and trying to save the exact time of its construction and restoration in the form of a record. Your cooperation is requested.
Shri Jain Sthanak was also constructed about 50 years ago and it remains our source of inspiration even today as our heritage in the form of reverence and belief of Jains. For accurate information, we are still trying and trying to save the exact time of its construction and restoration in the form of a record. Your cooperation is requested.
Shri Digambar Jain Temple, which stood steadfast in Kirthal for more than 100 years, showing the greatness of Jain culture, today has developed rapidly as a great pilgrimage and not only Jain understanding but also the village is full of this heritage. Every person can be seen flaunting. This Shri Digambar Jain temple, which is more than 100 years old, has been the center of reverence of the people due to the three main idols brought here from a ruined Jain temple in Rajasthan. This Jin Statue ji is 1008 Shri Muni Suvrat Nath ji sculpted in black stone, 1008 Shri Padma Prabhu ji sculpted in ocher stone and 1008 Shri Muni Neminath Bhagwan ji made in black stone.
