This very ancient and impressive pilgrimage is 11 km from Borsad on the banks of Mahisagar river. It is in the state of Gujarat at a distance of m.
The ancient name of this pilgrimage is Varikhilyanagari, later the mention of being Valmikinagari is found in the literature. The sons of Shri Adinath Dada, Shri Dravidji and Shri Varikhilyaji, who were Tapas, later attained salvation from Giriraj with pure restraint. यह परम प्राचीन और प्रभावशाली तीर्थ महीसागर नदी के किनारे बोरसद से 11 कि. मी की दुरी पर गुजरात राज्य मे है।
इस तीर्थ का प्राचीन नाम वारीखील्यनगरी बाद में वाल्मीकीनगरी होने का उल्लेख साहित्य में मिलता है। यह तीर्थभूमि श्री आदिनाथ दादा के पुत्रों , श्री द्रविडजी और श्री वारीखील्यजी जो तापस थे बाद में शुद्ध संयम लेकर गिरिराज से मोक्ष गये । उनकी वंशावली में श्री कुकड मुनि और उनकी वंशावली में हुए 88000 तापसो , जो महीसागर नदी के किनारे आये हुए कुकडीया गढ़ पर चैत्र सुद पूर्णिमा के दिन तप करके शिव सुख पाये थे ऐसा उल्लेख मिलता है। ऐसे यह तीर्थ गुजरात की तीसरी सिद्ध भूमि भी है।
105 वर्ष के आयुष्य अखंड 33 वर्षीतप के आराधक , वचनसिद्धि के स्वामी , संघस्थविर प.पूज्य श्री सिद्धिसूरीश्वसरजी महाराज ( बापजी म. सा. ) का गुरुमंदिर , 6561 कोलमवाले , भोजपत्र पे अष्टगंध से आलेखे हुए पुरे विश्व मे अजोड श्री चिंतामणी विजयपताका महायंत्रराज इस तीर्थ में प्रभावमान है।

यह तीर्थ में औषधि उद्यान बनाया है। अहमदाबाद और मुंबई में कोई भी जिनालय में प्रभु को अभिषेक करने हो उनके लिये औषधि यहाँ से ही ली जाती है। यह तीर्थ अहमदाबाद से 100 कि. मी और बोरसद से 12 कि. मी. पर है।
 यह तीर्थ मे जात्रा का गुरुवार और रविवार का महत्व ज्यादातर है। यह श्वेतांबर् मूर्तिपूजक जैन तीर्थ है।
 बोरसद से 12 किलोमीटर, आनंद रेलवे-स्टेशन से 30 किलोमीटर और वड़ोदरा (बरोडा) रेलवे-स्टेशन से 35 किलोमीटर है।

इस तीर्थ मे मूल नायक रूप मे श्री चंद्रप्रभु स्वामी महाराजा बिराजमान है। यह तीर्थ मे रहने के लिए धर्मशाला और भोजनालय की सुविधाए है।
