The only Shwetamber Jain temple where Shri Arnath Bhagwan as Mulnayak.
Temple is 300 years old, and so is the idol of Shitalnath Bhagwan also here. Arnath Bhagwan idol is 100 years old. It is just 10 mins walk from golden temple, and is in old town of Amritsar. The Jain population is very less here, about 45 shwetamber families in Amritsar. Daily puja done here eith all the proper vidhi, and Snatra daily. Once you enter the temple, you are taken back to 100+ year old world. The wall paintings of the temple are superb.The idols are very nice, and the temple is open from 6 am till 10 pm. If you find the doors locked from inside, wait for the pujari to open them. You could also visit the Parshwanath Bhagwan derasar which is 4 km away. They have stay facility there. Jain food is available at Marwadi bhojanalaya near golden temple.
