Appearance of the statue - In 1956, when the Municipality excavated here to widen the road, an underground basement was visible in the west of the area. Seeing this, the ancient memory of the devotees woke up. That there must be some ancient Jain temple underground in these ruins. After excavating the marked site, this idol appeared on August 16, 1956, on Thursday, 11:55 am.
This enlightened image of Lord Sri Chandraprabha Swami, situated in the posture of Padmasan on a white stone block, is marked by the sign of the moon. Its height is 15" and width is 12".
Following are the inscriptions on it - Samvat 1558 Varshe Vaishakh Sudi 3 Shree Kastha Sanghe Pushkar Gane Bh. Shri malay kirti Deva tatpatte bh. Gun Bhadra Dev Tadamnaye Goyal Gotre San Mankan So Bha. Ho, Lahi tola bha. Tari Putra 3 Gaja-Dharu, Jin Datt Trilok Chandra Eteshan Madhye san. Tola ten idam chandraprabham Pratishtapitam.
