Sri Sri 1008 Bhagwan Parshwanath Digambar Jain Atishya Kshetra Punyodaya Tirtha is the main center of faith located about three kilometers away on National Highway 10 in Hansi town of Hissar district of Haryana state. Devotees from Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh come here for Darshan. This pilgrimage site is spread over an area of about seven acres.
Three magnificent idols of Shri 1008 Bhagwan Parshvanath sitting on this area are sitting in the Chaityalaya. The area also has the feet of Shri 108 Dharmabhushan Maharaj. According to public opinion, one statue from these statues was obtained from Agurewa, the capital of Agresan Maharaj. The second idol has been excavated from the Hansi fort and the third idol has been excavated from the Atishay Kshetra Ranila.
On January 19, 1982, from the historical fort of Hansi, 57 Digambar Jain idols kept in copper baskets were seen to children playing gillidanda. All these idols of Tirthankaras and other Gods and Goddesses were placed in Shri Digambar Jain Panchayati Mandir Hansi on the day of Basant Panchami, 30 January 1982, for the darshan of the devotees. After this, all these idols remained in the Government Museum of Archaeological Department, Chandigarh for ten years.
Meanwhile, with the tireless efforts of local Digambar Jains and the blessings of Digambar Jainacharya Param Pujya Shri 108 Dharmabhushan Ji Maharaj, Pujya Kulbhushan Chullak Ji Maharaj (presently Param Pujya Shri 108 Dharmabhushan Ji Maharaj) and other saints On the day of December 1991 AD, all these exquisitely crafted ancient idols were handed over to the local Digambar Jain Samaj on the orders of the then Chief Minister of Haryana.
Due to inauspicious rise, the worshipable idols appearing from the fort enshrined in Shri Digambar Jain Panchayati Temple of Hansi and all the metal idols of Shri Mandir ji were mysteriously stolen on 26 October 2005. The sudden recovery of all these stolen idols by the Haryana Police in just 36 days, would actually be called an exaggeration in itself. Today all these idols are sitting in a grand newly built altar in Panchayati Bade Mandir ji of Hansi. Today a large number of people are fulfilling their desired wishes by visiting these miraculous, exaggerated idols.
This is the wonderful and wonderful Bhat sitting in Shri Mandir ji under the blessings of great Acharyas and Saints. Parshwanath will be called the miracle of twenty-four.
