Dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras, this temple is the most famous Jain temple in the city. Due to the many miracles (known as miracles in Hindi) performed by the deity, it is named as Karishmaji Temple. It is said that in the year 1832 AD, a farmer was instructed by God to dig a special place in his fields in a dream. The next day the farmer reached the spot and started digging the soil carefully. They found a crystal-like idol of Lord Adinath, the first Tirthankara of Jains, from that place. He shouted 'Jai Jai' from the sky. Heard the voice and also saw the saffron shower on the idol. He started worshiping the idol. As the news spread, people started visiting the place and paying tribute. So the Jains decided to install the idol in the city of Sawai Madhopur, but the farmer wanted to keep the idol with him. He got upset and started crying continuously. Then again in the dream the Lord instructed the farmer to keep the idol in the chariot and see where the horse stops. He was asked to build a temple at the same place. The next morning, the idol was placed in a chariot, but it did not move despite the best efforts of the people. So a huge, grand and artistic temple was built and the miraculous idol was installed. There are two altars in the temple. In the front altar, there is a 1.3 feet high dark red stone idol of Lord Padmaprabhu (the sixth Tirthankara of Jains) in a sitting posture. Lord Chandraprabhu (8th Tirthankara of Jains), Pancha Bal Yeti (Lord Vasupujya, 12th Tirthankara of Jains, Lord Malli Nath, 19th Tirthankara of Jains, Lord Nemi Nath, 22nd Tirthankara of Jains, Lord Parshvanath, Other artistic of God Statues) 23rd Tirthankara of Jains and Lord Mahavir ji, 24th Tirthankar of Jains and other Tirthankaras are also worth seeing here. Behind is the second altar where the idol of Shri Miraculous ji is installed. It is 6 inches high, made of white quartz and sits in Padmasana posture. Other ancient idols are also installed here. There is a beautiful spire at the top of the sanctum. Devotees come here to fulfill their wishes and some people have built umbrellas on the roof of the temple to fulfill their wishes.
