Mulnayak : Nearly 78 cms. high, white – coloured idol of Bhagwan Manmohan Parshwanath in the
Padmasana posture.
The temple is in the main market of Bali village.
The village of Bali is the heart of Godvad Kshetra of Rajasthan. There are 2 ancient temples in Bali
of Adinath Bhagwan and Manmohan Parshwanath Bhagwan. V.S.1161 is written on the Idol of
Bhagwan Mamohan Parshwanth which shows the antiquity of the idol. The story goes that the presiding deity of Bhagwan Parshwanath came in a dream of Gemaji Shravak and told him that there is an idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath in the lake in Sela village and asked him to install it in a
temple. When the idol was found, there was an argument between the villagers of Sela and Bali as to where the idol will be installed. It was decided that the idol will be taken in a bullock cart and where the bullock cart stops, the idol will be installed in that village. The cart halted in the village of Bali. Hence, a gorgeous temple was built in Bali village and this idol was installed in that temple. It is said that this idol was installed by the revered hands of Acharya Shri Yashobhadrasurishvarji of the Sanderak Gacchha. This idol of Bhagwan Manmohan Parshwanath is very beautiful, miraculous, influential and pleasing. The architecture of the temple is unique and beautiful.
Other Temples : There is another ancient temple of Bhagwan Adinath which is believed to be
about 2,000 years old. The idol of Rata (red coloured) Mahavir in this temple is very spectacular.
