'Ahimsa International Award' dedicated to JITO, Sanjay Ghorawat Foundation, Gurudev Rakesh - Acharya Lokeshji

Maharashtra, Mumbai 06.11.2022: National Seminar on "Contribution of Saints and Social Institutions in Nation Building" was organized in the dignified courtyard of Maharashtra Raj Bhavan. The seminar was inaugurated by Hon'ble Governor of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari. In this ceremony, Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Acharya Dr Lokeshji, Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Center, Shri Jayant Jain along with eminent personalities associated with Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, Jeeto Apex and Sanjay Ghorawat Foundation participated.

The Governor of Maharashtra, Hon'ble Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, while addressing said that India is the land of saints & sages. Non-violence and peace can be established in the world only by following the path of Lord Mahavir, Lord Buddha. While congratulating on the foundation day of “Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and Vishwa Shanti Kendra”, Governor said that at present, saints like Acharya Dr Lokeshji are actively contributing in nation building and upliftment of society.

Governor Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Union Ministers Shri Piyush Goyal and Acharya Lokeshji honored Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), Sanjay Ghorawat Foundation and Gurudev Rakesh Bhai ji with Ahimsa International Award on this occasion.

Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, while congratulating the foundation day of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati and World Peace Center, said that the contribution of saints and social organizations is important for building a healthy and prosperous nation. Appreciating the humanitarian work of Acharya Lokesh ji, he said that Acharshri has brought pride to the country by spreading the Indian culture and the message of non-violence of Lord Mahavir not only in India but all over the world.

Acharya Lokeshji, founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati and World Peace Center, congratulated Gurudev Rakeshbhai ji, Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), Sanjay Ghorawat Foundation, who have honored with the ‘Ahimsa International Award’ on this occasion and said that for building a glorious India. For this, saints and social organizations have to come forward. Acharyashri said that violence and terror is not the solution to any problem, solution of global problems is possible only with the non-violence and Anekant philosophy of Lord Mahavir.

On this occasion, Atmapreet Nemiji on behalf of Gurudev Rakeshbhai read out his message, Prithviraj Kothari ji on behalf of JITO Organization and Sanjay Ghodawat on behalf of Sanjay Ghodawat Foundation expressed their gratitude to Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati Organisation for being honored with the Ahimsa Award.

The program started with the welcome speech of Shri Jayant Jain, President of the Organizing Committee, the vote of thanks was given by Shri Ganpat Kothari ji. Motivational speaker Mr. Sajan Shah conducted the program efficiently. The citation for the Ahimsa International Award was read by Mr. Motilal Oswal, Mr. Mahendra Bagrecha, Dr. Gautam Bhansali, Mr. Kishore Jain. Shri Rakesh Chopra, Ganpat Kothari, Kishore Jain, Rajiv Chopra, Leena Praveen Chopra, Rakesh Nahar, Vimal Kothari, Prakash Chopra, Karan Kapoor, Javed, Vineet and many more contributed significantly in making the program a success.
