Rajgir, (Nalanda - Bihar) :- Deeksha Kalyanak Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir Swami, the 24th and last ruler of Jainism, the embodiment of truth and non-violence, was celebrated with pomp and gaiety at his Deeksha Kalyanak Bhoomi Shri Rajgriha Ji Digambar Jain Siddha Kshetra, Rajgir in a devotional atmosphere. Sanand completed on Saturday, 19-11-2022.
It should be noted that on this day i.e. Margashish Krishna Dashami, every year on the occasion of Deeksha Kalyanak, worship-abhishek and many auspicious programs are held with pomp. This great festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm in every area of Bihar State Digambar Jain Teerth Kshetra Committee. Mr. Vijay Kumar Jain told the beginning of the program ‘Veershasan Dham Tirtha’ It was accompanied by chanting of mantras by the devotees present in front of the huge 11 feet high Padmasana idol. After that the mesmerizing scene of Abhishek of Lord Mahaveer Swami started. Before that there were bids. First anointing was done with pure water, then milk, curd, Ichchuras, Sarvodhi, Ghrit Kalash, Panchamrit, after that many people were trying to melt their hearts by watching Shantidhara, Mangal-Aarti and worship in their eyes. Worship - After consecration at 12:00 noon Lord Mahavir Swami is seated on the chariot “Veershasan Dham Tirtha” from Rath Yatra started. A large number of women and children also participated in the procession and showed their enthusiasm. Devotees participating in the procession carried banners of Lord Mahavir's messages and Jainism. Hail – Raising slogans of cheers “Veershasan Dham Tirtha” Leaving from Dharamshala Road, via bus stand, reached Deeksha Kalyanak Sthali. Where Lord Mahavir's Deeksha Kalyanak Sthali was established in front of the ancient feet of the Lord and worshiped with chanting – The program of Mahamastakabhisheka was completed with 108 Kalasho with Archana. The procession culminated at Sri Digamber Jain Kothi and Bhagwan Munisuvratnath Swami's Janmabhoomi Temple, Rajgir via bus stand from Deeksha Kalyanak Sthali.

Mangal Aarti/Bhajan program was organized in Sandhya Mandir ji. Vijay Jain, Sanjit Jain, Mukesh Jain, Ashish Jain, Jagdish Jain, Pawan Jain, Subhash Jain, Rakesh Jain, Ravi Kumar Jain, Chandan Jain, Pawan Jain, Gyanchandra Jain, Ashok Jain, Baijnath Jain, Manoj, Upendra, Sanket, Aman, Abhishek, Gautam, Cheeku and women, children like Jain pilgrims from Rajasthan, Delhi, Karnataka were also present.
