Mulnayak Shri Shri Chintamani Parshwanath Bhagwan in black color seated in a lotus posture, of height 120cms, in a shrine on the banks of River Krishna outside the village of Amravati.

On the left side of mulnayak the idol of Shri Vimalnath Bhagwan and on the right side the idol of Shri Vasupujya Swami Bhagwan. This idol of Mulnayak appeared in Krishna River (Amravati-Guntur) 40 years ago.

It is difficult to make a guess about the shrine’s antiquity but the style of sculptures, atmosphere of the place and comparison with the antiquity of other shrines in Andhra Pradesh give one an approximate idea about it. Possibly the shrine should be a period earlier than a thousand years. The last renovations on the temple were carried out in Vikram year 2031. Now again renovation is required to be done.

This ancient shrine being located on the banks of river Krishna in a peaceful atmosphere of quiet serenity and natural beauty is the fittest place for meditation.

Every year a festival fair is held on Posh Krishna Dasami.

The nearest railway station of Guntur is 35 Kms away from the shrine where autos, taxis and buses are available. Bus stand is half a kilometer from the temple where auto-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws are available. Cars and buses can go right up to the temple doors.
