Janakallu field
Janakal village is a famous Atishaya Kshetra located in Hosadurga Taluk of Chitradurga district. 1008 Sri Neminatha Swami and Jaganmatepadmavati Devi's residence is believed to be around 800 years old.
Janakallu Kshetra had a large number of Jain residences in those days, and it is said that Jain monks used to meditate on the rocks here. That is why this place is called 'Jain Stone'. It is said to be named. Even now you can see the image of Jain yatis and scripts carved on the rock. From this it can be said that Jainism was very prevalent in this region.
